Adaptive Cruise Control is based on the normal cruise control system. If the car ahead is moving more slowly, the speed you’ve selected is reduced to match. This is achieved by automatic braking and intervention to control your car’s acceleration. By selecting different time gaps, you can adjust the distance maintained by the ‘Front Assist’ function.
